    Title: Twice Lost

    Summary: Long before sunrise, Eric had already had a glimpse of how it felt to lose one's maker.
    A/N: This started out as a short fic for TB_Kink. I swear. I can't help being plotty and wordy, apparently. I will manage to write undiluted smut at some point. Please scroll halfway down for the bit that justifies the rating was originally my only focus.

    Spoilers: True Blood, up to 2x09; one very minor spoiler for Book 4 (a vampire trait)

    Summary:  Godric hadn't known quite how possessive he was until he became a maker.
    Notes: I was intrigued by the show's obviously devoted, but incredibly deferential relationship between Eric and Godric, and I couldn't stop thinking how something like that would have worked over the course of a millennium.

    Title: Yuletide for the Mourner
    Pairing: Snape/Harry
    Rating: I think it qualifies as NC-17 
    Spoilers: First five books; this could be HBP compliant, if you squint...?
    Summary: It is a bitter Christmas for Ginny. Chancing upon a private encounter, she begins to learn how deeply Harry's issues run and the sort of adversary she is up against. 6th year, set right after Christmas.
    Author's Note: This started out as an exercise in voyeurism, a subject that interests me and that I had never developed on; sometime during the process, it developed into an exercise in angst. I'm starting to find myself predictable.

    Because this is also supposed to be a back-up journal, and I ws too lazy to do this before, I thought I'd take advantage of this free half hour and actually back up the part of my writing that doesn't involve Harry Potter and Snape going on about the Phantom of the Opera.
